FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We already know what you're going to ask before you even ask it. Check out the answers below. If you still have questions that we didn't anticipate, ask them by clicking here! Or, if we answered all your questions to your satisfaction, you can place your order by clicking here!

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?

After we get your order submission AND your confirmation email for the order details, we will begin working within 24 hours. Most items will take 3-5 days, as products are made-to-order and sometimes have multiple steps that require drying time, like wood glue for extra stability, stains, and/or extra paint coats. Also, we are a small operation, so if we have too many orders at one time, construction of your item may not begin until other orders can be cleared out!

DELIVERY OR PICK-UP?

Either! If you live nearby (10 miles or less), I'll bring it to you, free of charge. Delivery distances between 10 and 50 miles will have a small transportation fee strictly to cover mileage costs. Any time you ask us to deliver, please be patient and flexible with us - we have day jobs and busy schedules! If you want to pick-up the item, that's fine, too.

DO YOU SHIP?

Unfortunately, no. Some of these items are large or awkward and just aren't convenient or cheap to ship.

ARE THE STOVE COVERS USABLE AS CUTTING BOARDS?

Not as delivered - you can certainly make it into a food-safe food preparation surface by purchasing food-grade sealant from any home improvement store. We choose not to apply this finish because it must be re-sealed frequently if used for that purpose - that's a choice for you to make!

I NEED HELP WITH INSTALLATION - HOW DOES THAT WORK?

Shelves and ledges are best installed directly into wall studs, and all purchases include 2.5" drywall screws for mounting. If you aren't comfortable with finding studs or just don't trust yourself to install something on your own, I am happy to help, free of charge. Delivery distance costs would still apply.

WHAT IF YOU HELP ME INSTALL BUT MESS UP MY WALL?

OK, let's be real - we aren't perfect, but at worst, we may accidentally misplace a screw hole. If your item won't cover that mishap, we'll have putty on-hand to patch it. It'll be up to you to paint it - come on, it was free help!

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

At this time, only Venmo and cold, hard cash are accepted. We may be able to accommodate a check if it can clear before work on the project begins.

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?

Upon delivery or pick-up of the item. Large purchases may require a deposit to protect the investment in materials.

WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH "COMING SOON" PRODUCTS? CAN I ORDER THEM?

"COMING SOON" items are ideas that we know how we want to build, but haven't quite fleshed out yet - we know that taking a chance on something you haven't seen can be scary, so if you order one before we've built the first one, we'll reward your bravery with 10% off the published price!

CAN THE COMBO DISCOUNT BE COMBINED WITH OTHER DISCOUNTS?

Yes, the combo price for shelves can be stacked with other promos, unless otherwise stated. Heck yeah!

I WANT SOMETHING YOU DON'T ALREADY MAKE - CAN I REQUEST SOMETHING?

Sure! We aren't experts on everything (yet), nor do we own all the fanciest woodworking tools (yet), but we would be excited to entertain any idea. If we like your idea enough to publish it as a "COMING SOON" product, we'll offer 10% off the projected published price just so that we have something to take a picture of for the listing when we finish your order! Shoot us a message through the question form by clicking here.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Once we have confirmed the details of your order, cancellation is only permitted before work has begun on the item. Any deposits made are non-refundable after materials are purchased.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

These items are made-to-order and cannot be returned for a refund. However, if you are not happy with the quality you receive, we want to make things right. This will likely be a case-by-case conversation about how we achieve that for your specific issue.
